about
'Ghanima', the title, was taken from a character's name in 'Children of Dune', a science fiction novel by Frank Herbert.
Our music is very often sci-fi themed, and this tune is evocative of a desolate futuristic landscape. It was only much later that we investigated the name Ghanima, and discovered its original meaning to be “spoils of war, which include land, wealth, cattle, women and children."

Tehran-based sound artist Tegh (aka Shahin Entezami) and violinist Adel Poursamadi offer stirring, unsettling take on ambient. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jul 18, 2022
Slow-burning, sax-enhanced groovy psychedelic rock with warm male vocals counterpointed by female ones ranging from the biting to the spiritual to the tribal. Makes me think of a lighter and way more transcendental version of early Goat.
However, looking at the other comments, it seems that this music has got the power to bring to mind very different things to different people, and this means that there's definitely something unique and great going on. muschiosauro
