'Midnight' is a song about being lost in a relationship. Each stanza represents the process of working through the confusion that comes with the pain and loss of slowly losing someone.

With an encompassing dual vocal delivery, swarming, almost psychedelic guitar work underpinned by the duo’s penchant for ‘80s post-punk and garage-goth melodies, this track is an ethereal and enveloping 4m 19secs.

An endless skyline of dusky golden light over Moreton Bay that's where this record lives. I always admire when bands can work imagery of their city into songs. This is especially nice when it comes to the areas in and around Meanjin, a place we hear far too little of. Demetry Malahoff
