Meanjin based project Noir et Blanc arose in early 2020, formed by composer and producer Amber Ramsay.
Setting out to fuse the relationship of music in film with neoclassical arrangements for the modern day listener.

Slow-burning, sax-enhanced groovy psychedelic rock with warm male vocals counterpointed by female ones ranging from the biting to the spiritual to the tribal. Makes me think of a lighter and way more transcendental version of early Goat. However, looking at the other comments, it seems that this music has got the power to bring to mind very different things to different people, and this means that there's definitely something unique and great going on.
